Speed Camera / Traffic Calming, 29th September

The A947 is a very busy commuter road and the section between Mosshead and Tulloch Lodge is a favorite for overtaking. But it can be dangerous as there are several turnings and entrances to properties on this section which pose a hazard when High Speed traffic is over taking slower moving traffic and vehicles are either entering or leaving the road.

Kids playground, 26th September

The council decided without consultation of residents to erect some sort of adventure playground over the wall from houses in Blantyre Crescent which has had the effect of attracting teenagers and undesirables till all hours of the night shouting and swearing - recently they stayed there the entire night having apparently been at a party nearby which Police had visited.
There are several vulnerable pensioners live in the street who must feel intimidated by this.
It is worth noting that this area has no lighting so they are sitting there in darkness - invisible but clearly audible.
What could be done? Not sure, perhaps lighting the area would make it less inviting to these people but it would at least give the vulnerable residents a little security?

This is our property marked with the tag .For the past few months a dog that stays just down our street has been regularly fouling on the pavement outside our house .This evening 23rd of august at approximately 7.30 the owner and three girls in varieying ages watched as the said dog to put it politely did #2 then lifted his leg and did a #1 whilst viewing them i decided to approach them to ask politely if they could dispose of the #2 but they ignored my request .I am sure they wouldnt take kindly to this happening at their front door .I know where the owners and the dog live just 9 houses down the street on Boyndie Street the house is called "Hillcrest" .Hopefully a small word with them will rectify the problem .They also have a son approximately 16 years of age who has let the dog foul numerous times .A couple of our freinds saw him let the dog foul and never picked it up .Hopefully they will listen If you get the dog warden to have a word and explain the law on dog fouling and the maximum fine that they could get .

Manhole covers, 19th August

Dear Sir, since the up grade to the sewage system in this area there are now manhole covers on what is the normal line a motocyclist would take. The winter is not far away and these are going to be slippery. Is there a move to replace these with the non slip type as manufactured by Saint Gobain which have been trialled for the last two years by Bristol Council? When are the road markings going to be re painted?

Unsighted junction, 10th June

When crossing slug road from Castlefields to Redcloak area, it is not possible for you to see cars approaching from Slug road into Stonehaven. You therefore have to walk up the Slug Road to get visibility. Cars are travelling very fast on Slug Road, often forgetting about the mini roundabout. Should be speed bumps before this roundabout to slow traffic
