Screw Nails in the road, 16th November

For the 3rd time in one year i have had to change my tyres because they have been punctured by screw nail. This time i found the culprit, nails on Bray Road, probably from work lorry's and vans working on the new development,it has cost me so much the 3rd time 16/11/08 £137.00

Most of the hedges on the east side of Temple Fortune Lane obstruct pedestrians where the pavement is narrowed in any case by street trees. It is imossible to push a pushchair past in several places

This road and small roundabout at apex on map should be tagged as unsuitable for large vehicles on SatNav maps.Regular damage is done to road surrounds at the small and tight roundabout by large vehicles - usually lost or trying to avoid congestion at nearby Henley's Corner jnc A1/A406/A598.

There are some boxes housing telephone controls?? the doors are left open causing a hazard, and also exposing loose wiring inside. the doors should be closed by whoever is responsible for these boxes.

Kerbstones knocked out of place, 6th November

Outside entrance to Eastbury Court there are at least 3 or 4 kerbstones out of place. On the opposite side of the street the lamp standard, number 14, is not working. Can you please help.

Dog Fouling, 6th November

There is a dog that keeps fouling outside my property on the council pathway and on my driveway/pathway to the house. I have not seen this dog nor the owner and it only happens mid week but has happened 4 times now in the last 2 weeks. Can you suggest some ideas on how to stop this.......a polite notice on the driveway maybe?

The street lamp in the alley way is not working - it is the second street lamp in from nant road, not the one at the end of the alley, but one in. I think it's number 2 or 3.

Pavements, drains & Alleyways, 2nd November

The whole way around the block of Fairey NW9 5PL. The pavements were supposed to have been replaced some two years ago and have not been. They are all uneven, broken, drains above and below the evel of pavements, tree roots have lifted the tarmac around the back of the block and the side of the block the alleyway's tarmac has all split making it extremely dangerous to walk down and in particular at night. This has been reported many many times but nothing changes.

We have had no street lights for a number of weeks now. Try to telephone to report it and are passed from pillar to post and being given another number. I came home late last night and had to ring the house for someone to come out and meet me.

Someone is allowing their dog to foul in the MIDDLE of the pavement on a daily basis. Large amounts of mess are then being trodden along the pavement as this is a busy road.

Dangerous location for cyclists, 29th October

The contraflow cycle lane on Church Lane is dangerous for cyclists at the point where they come down from the railway bridge, as they often encounter oncoming vehicles which are overtaking parked cars. There is a sign warning approaching drivers of the contraflow cycle lane, but this generally seems to have little effect on driver speed or road position. More needs to be done to get drivers to pull back onto their own side of the road as they approach the bridge. The best would be a small traffic island to physically separate off the cycle lane, but other measures that would help would be colouring the surface of the cycle lane, and restricting parking for a slightly greater distance from the bridge than at present.

Junction box, 27th October

There is a green/blue junction box on the pavement at the top of Llanvanor Rd. The doors are not secure and tend to come open, a nuisance to pedestrians. A notice inside the box says that it belongs to NTL. Please could you ask NTL to fix the doors.
