Down the bottom Blackburn lane on the walk way and along the passage to Tudor way there is a unbelieveable amount of dog fouling. The nights are getting dark and it is every two steps.

Faded "Welcome to Barnsley" Sign, 14th October

The sign "Welcome to Barnsley" with details of twinned town which is viewable by all vehicles coming from Brampton over onto the Barnsley border see this very faded and tired sign. RMBC have spent thousands ensuring that on key roads the signage is in good order but this sign just gives a really bad welcome to Barnsley. It would be better if it was taken down if not replaced.

Gangs abusing alcohol and drugs and committing damage to property and acts of threatening violence into the early hours., 1st October

Gangs of youths, each with bags of alcohol each and all using Cannabis gather in gennell between Cumberland Close and Greenside lane (Mostly on Friday nights). They get drunk e.t.c, cause damage, threatening behaviour and violence. I live directly against the walkway I'm talking about and we have had the kitchen window smashed twice by drunken/drugged youths and the whole house perimeter fence piulled down and destroyed.

There is a labrador owner that has never cleaned up after her dog. On the grass near the bus stop at 07.00 hrs every morning.

Teenagers drinking, 17th September

Hi Is there any chance we can get some extra support through the council for PCSO visits or similar. A good time to come here would be after 5pm into the evening as the kids are just wrecking the place right down into Shireoaks Way. They are breaking trees pulling wood fencing down and various other problems including the teenagers drinking.

Glass,cans and general rubbish, 17th September

Hi Can we please have some attention paid to this street and the surrounding area as there is broken glass all over Lillydene Ave and the main high street.The general state is poor with rubbish left. This problem is mainly caused by the congregation of teenagers in the evening on the old pub site. They drink and throw their bottles etc.

Some properties on Carr Head Lane/Pennyfields have over grown gardens and bike frames have been dumped. Also a lot of litter has been blown around

The orange bollard light is not working on the pedestrian crossing at the junction of Green Road and Sheffield Road, Springvale. Could this please be replaced.

Poor lighting, 22nd August

Sir, Can I report that the lighting on Pogmoor Lane is poor, this is because the street lights are obscured by the trees which envelop them. There is also a problem of persons using the lane to take a short cut through to the estate at the reat of Pogmoor Lane. They drive on the road at fast speeds. There are not pavements and with the poor lighting I feel that some sleeping Policemen would alleviate this problem. My children are my main concern as obviously they use the lane daily.

Because of the parked cars the overhanging vegetation makes the footpath narrow and lots of leaves and litter making it unsightly and dangerous when wet.

There has been graffitti on the railway bridge on white cross lane Swaithe for several weeks now. Please can this be cleaned up as it's a complete eyesore

The mainhole cover and drain on the slip road to the doctors surgery has been spewing foul water and sewage for 2 days now and no one seems to e looking at it

Dog Mess, 6th August

People walking their dogs constantly allow them to foul this part of the public foot path, where children play with friends and ride their bikes. The children from the estate very often get dog mess on their shoes! Can signs be erected in the area to discourage this behaviour?

Antisocial behaviour, 5th August

Two teenaged girls known to the police for nuisance behaviour elsewhere in the area are regularly (most evenings) shouting, swearing, littering, smoking cannabis in the public footpath between High Bank and Manchester Road, Thurlstone. They are aggressive and threatening.
