Grass verge parking, 4th December

Hi I live in the vicinity of starbank road and kingscliffe road. I am a pensioner and have grandchildren. At school times, cars are parked on grass verge and are making it muddy. A particular car, a small blue car which i see regularly parked on grass verge is making it unsightly and muddy and has no disregard for others. The reason im bothered is 1 day i was taking my grandkids to school and she was spinning her wheels and sprayed mud all over my grandchild and just walked away later smiling. She should park on road where there is space and not on grass verge and damage it. You need to put up posts on the grass verges if you are able to. Please let me know what actions you will take in helping me and all the other residents to sort out this annoying problem.

Thankyou.

Car parked across driveway, 19th November

Another complaint against man living at 16 Ilford Road. Every night his girlfriend parks her Red Ford Ka across driveway of 14 Ilford Road which has a drop down curb. The old lady living at this address does not have a car but does have visitors. Even so a drop down curb means no parking yet this woman constantly parks her car across it every night.

Dog owner allowing his dog to defecate anywhere in street, 19th November

A man living at 16 Ilford Road, Erdington, has a golden coloured cross dog (possibly alsation with labrador) and lets dog out, usually early morning, but to defecate in street wherever it likes. The man pretends not to notice dog is doing this if another member of the public walks by (he pretends to be on his mobile telephone). The dog may defecate in Ilford Road or Glendon Road. The defecation is always a large amount, the dog tends to urinate in the middle of the road also, and with children being in the area it is disgusting.

19 Stanmore Road's dustbin in the front garden has not been emptied for several years. Cats and wild animals occasionally seen accessing bin (no lid). The rubbish is not in a bag, so the dustmen don't touch it. The bin has been like this for 3 or 4 years.

Loud/vibrating car stereos, 11th November

Some of the residents of this neighbourhood clearly consider it essential to their manhood to be driving vehicles fitted with sound systems which are so loud that the booming bass tones are actually capable of causing vibrations in buildings as they pass by. I swear I have on occasion actually been woken up at 2am by these people. I know this must be a difficult problem to tackle and nothing an be done without evidene which is hard to establish in such cases, but what does the local council think can be done about it?

Whenever we have an icy-spell this area of road approaching the roundabout always becomes very icy.

Very Dark Alley, 10th November

There is only one (white) light in this alley which causes it to become very dark in the evening and at night. An additional light, or perhaps an amber light would be more suited.

There also tends to be broken bottles in the area.

Button Not Working, 10th November

The traffic light button on this side of the road (infront of Deano's Barbers, opposite the car garage) is not working. Any other button actives the "Wait" light on the same panel.

This has been causing people to run across the road dodging traffic, especially since it's by a College and on the same side as a popular cafe/shop/cash machine.

To my knowledge, all other buttons work fine.
