However, this year, just like the last few, the box remains empty of grit. The road in question has a rather steep incline and is extremely dangerous to drive along on ice and snow, whereas at least if we could grit the road ourselves it would eleviate the problem. This brings me on to the payment of Council tax, that we l pay and in tis rspect we receive nothing in return. Vehicles are in danger of being damaged and persons are in danger of being seriously injured. The problem is compounded by the fact that turning left out of Chapel Road there is always a row of parked cars up to the junction on Cleckheaton Road. This is an accident waiting to happen. It should also be noted, Chapel Road is private road to which the owner of the van is not even a resident.
