Litter dropped on a daily basis., 16th November

People of all ages who think it acceptable to throw litter on the verges, pavements and road. Only that on the road is collected by the occasional cleaning lorry. You might also consider the unsightly appearance of verges damaged by people parking on them while collecting children from Litchard school.

Big mess!, 23rd October

There is a big dog mess problem in North Cornelly, (pardon the pun). I walked to the post office from Heol Maendy just yesterday and decided to count along the way, and there were 11 loads of dog mess on the footpath! That's not even including whatever is in the grass, that's JUST the footpath! You literally have to dodge them, and if you're pushing a pram or pulling a shopping trolly forget it! Could local residents be warned of not cleaning up after their dogs and also about letting loose dogs run about? There are several of those as well in that area. Thanks very much!

Street lighting, 23rd October

This street light is not working, and the rest of the street/corner are quite dim. We have had our car broken into in the drive last week, and intruders in our garden 2 nights before that. Improvements in the lighting would be appreciated and helpful. Thank you :)

Diesel spills, 3rd September

The road known locally as the A4061 from Bryncethin through Blackmill and onto the Ogmore Valley is covered in Diesel every morning from lorries using that route on a regualer basis, i ride a motorcycle and its very dangerous. I have not taken any photo's as yet but i will if you want me to.

Someone is letting there dog into my garden, 26th August

For the last week I have found dog poo all around my garden, I do not own a dog and have managed to step in it today and trapse it all around my house is it possible to post some signs along blackmill road as a deterrent.

There is persistant dog fouling on the grass triangle shown. At least a dozen owners and their dogs mainly from Newton-Nottage road area use this patch as a dog's latrine on a daily basis. Fortunatly several clean up after their dogs but a few consistantly do not.

Everyday we have to clean the dog mess up from our front door, it has been going on for three years and we have had enough of it. how can we reslove this? sometimes there is more than one dog mess but we think its the same owner. We just haven't seen him do it. we are constantly washing the pavements down.

I live at 50 philadelphia road, Porthcawl and we need resident parking desperately! With all the visitors coming to Porthcawl whish is great for revenue. However I work hard to have a nice house in Porthcawl and feel all around Philadelphia road should be resident parking.

Potholes were refilled in September 2007, but the problem has remerged and the whole road, running alongside Maesteg Hospital right up to Tair Waun Place, needs resurfacing.

Popular beauty spot, blighted by people dropping litter, whole of hillside on our side of the valley strewn with rubbish, (toilets etc) and a pile of rubble opposite which used to be the public house in Pontycymmer, (recently burned down and delivered to the hillside)

There are 2 Lorry wheels with tyres, which were put next to my property (1 Cilparc) Rear of Grahams Hair Dressers, about a year or so ago. How do I go about getting them removed.

Neighbours allowing dogs to foul., 21st November

Good afternoon. I am now at the end of my tether after my four year old has again walked dog mess into my house. It is not the fact that i have to clean it up, although this is not very pleasant, it is the fact that i also have a one year old who is at the stage of putting everything in his mouth. The neighbour concerned lioves at No. 5 Penyrallt Avenue, Litchard Bridgend. She not only leaves the dog mess on the ground when she walks her dog, but she also allows the dog to roam and do it's business where ever it likes. I have also noticed dog mess in my garden although i cannot say that it is her dog that is responsible. The lady in this address and the worst ofender is an elderly female who owns a black dog. Her neighbour, a gentleman who owns a white and ginger jack russel also allows his dog to roam and carry outs its business. It was quite upsetting to hear the mum and dad of 4 young children living oposite, not to walk in the grass verge due to the excrement. Surely we should be allowed to take our children out without worry that they will get covered in this mess or even worse catch some kind of disease. A good friend of our family has a legal services business. I have considered paying him to carry out surveillance and then take out a private legal case against the two dog owners, with a view to having the costs paid, however, there does not appear to be a provision in the act of law for this to take place. IF THE COUNCIL ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT READ THIS, PLEASE TAKE ACTION. THANKS

Dog walkers are forever failing to pick up dog mess. There are no doggie bins and the signs are too inconspicuous. larger signs, bins and enforcement required after 'office hours'

Road Condition, 23rd July

This road is a disgrace - the few potholes which were filled in last week are by far outnumbered by the ones that havent been fixed - and the fixed ones will soon be damaged again - as seen numerous times before - When is this road going to be finally fixed properly - this patching up simply isn't working

Abandoned Trailer, 18th July

Over the weekend a trailer with no wheels has been abandoned on the footpath / grass verge. I doubt the owner is coming back for it and it looks very unsightly.

Blocked Footpath, 18th July

The footpath outside No 26 Penylan Avenue has been blocked for over 5 weeks. Metal screens remain positioned so that all pedestrians have to divert into the road to pass this property.
