Illegal Parking, 2nd December

Residents who live in the Ridings are constantly obstructing the junction of Peart Drive with The Ridings. They are doing this by parking their cars on the pavement at the corners of the junction. I firmly believe that if there was a fire in Peart Drive or the top of the Ridings a Fire Engine would struggle to quickly reach the affected property. Not only does the parking at the junction obstruct larger vehicles it also obsrtucts a drivers view as they enter or exit Peart Drive. What causes me particular concern is that children play in Peart Drive on afternoons and weekends and i'm worried that it's only a matter of time before one of them is involved in an accident. Whilst I have every sympathy with residents over the lack of parking in The Ridings I feel action needs to be taken now for safetys sake.

Student parking in Stoke Park road has always been a problem due to the lack of control by the university over where students actually park their vehicles during term times. This photograph shows an example of damage to the verge caused by a larger vehicle attempting to enter and depart Aable Nursing home whilsty a student vehicle is parked opposite restricting easy access for the larger vehicle. Could somebody liase with the University and restrict the number of student vehicles to enable all these vehicles to be contained within the university car parks which are often only half full whilst student vehicles remain parked in the road.

Lorries with a hiab crane have parked on the pavement in Stoke park Road delivering goods to the 'Spinney' 30 Stoke Hill. The entrance to this property is in fact in Stoke Park Road. Buidling works have been ongoing for 18 months and heavy commercial vehicles have continued to damage the paving stones already replaced at least once during this time.Please can you get the pavement repaired. I walk past there every day and have fallen over twice by tripping on these paving slabs.

The street lamp in Cobblestone Mews nearest to College Road does not illuminate properly. Can you get it sorted as this is a very dark section of road.

Open rubbish bags on Cobblestone Mews, 24th November

A number of black bin bags have been left here for a number of days and have now spilt onto the road causing cars to drive over them and rubbish to be spilt everywhere. The residents on this road seem to leave black bins and bags out all week! We are seeing an increase in the number of foxes on the street too due to the rubbish issues.

Flytipping behind houses on Fitzroy Street, 15th November

The steep grassy verge between the back gardens of the Bath road houses and those of the Fitzroy Street houses are littered with everything from Bath tubs to Music Keyboards. This creates a real eye sour and a health and safety concern. Any assistance in rectifying this problem would be greatly appreciated.

After heavy rain this area floods as the drain is blocked. The water collects over the drain on this corner.

Blocked drains, 11th November

The drain on the corner of the junction of Ralph Road and Muller Road is blocked. As it has rained quite a lot over the weekend this has caused a small flood on that corner. The water was quite deep, and was blocking the pedestrian crossing at this junction (on LH side of Ralph Road as you face bus depot). Obviously this problem is likely to reoccur as and when it rains!

Whilst out at work on 7Nov08 it appears a car collided with my garden wall and the 'one-way' sign that warns people exiting Castle Close not to turn right! Sign is uprooted and lying on the ground. It and the pavement in need of repair.

The street light is causing concerns for local residents it makes that area of the road very dark indeed. If engineers could visit at the earliest opportunity in order to assertain the means and fix the problem it would be greratly apreciated.Many Thanks in advance

Theer is a persistent water leak from a garage on teh south side of Charles Place as shown on the map. I have reported this to Bristol water on two occasions during teh past f our years but no action ahs been taken.

Rubbish dumped under end of foot bridge, 3rd November

Rubbish and litter (including a duvet) has been left under the end of the footbridge. Seems to be just dumped (rather than someone sleeping there).

Bins and rubish left on the pavement, 30th October

Black rubbish bags , rubbish bins and recyckling bins have been left on the pavement. I have seen rats and birds around the place . It is impossible to walk on the pavement, pedestrian have to walk in the road. Same situation is on rear of block . Nobody takes care of it.I live in block of flats Victoria Place and I think there should be responsible person for clearing area outside and inside of block
