Litter/ Leaves, 11th November

Chalk Hill is covered in bits and pieces of litter. I have been around myself with a bin bag collecting bottles and cans. They are easy to recycle and I think there are a lot of possibilities to have a recycling area on Chalk Hill/ The Chase, which may help such problems.
Leaves are evry slippery and the trees have shed nearly all of there leaves now. I think it needs clearing at least on the steep pathways. As it is quite a hazard.

Broken street lighting, 10th November

Please repair the street lighting. A silver estate car nearly knocked two very well lit and reflective cyclists off their bikes tonight in the darkness of Beechwood lane/ Tedder Road. The car driver had cut the corner and was effectively driving on the other side of the road. These roads should be have all lighting repaired: it is currently very dark and does not show up reflective lightin on cyclists. There should surely also be a STOP sign at the end of Tedder Road meeting Beechwood Lane STOP road as cars are regularly pulling out without adequately taking stock of the situation ahead of them, usually the unseen road to the left, but tonight, the whole road was not viewed properly and could have resulted in a serious injury to two road users. The two cyclists were shaken but unharmed - a lucky escape.

Faulty lights, 4th November

The traffic lights appear to be periodicly switching off during the day. Over the last couple of days I and my friends have seen these lights both active and switched off. With no lights the bridge - which is on a blind corner and is single carriageway - becomes very dangerous.

Speeding traffic, 30th October

The speed limit is now 30mph but a vast percentage of vehicles do not observe this and in fact some travel well in excess of 40mph.This is a danger to residents with accesss directly onto the road, 2 personal visitors having had near misses when turning into my property. I and my wife have also received abuse for slowing on entry. The other aspect of speeding traffice is the excessive noise.

Potholes, 10th October

There are a number of large, deep potholes on West Well Lane, towards the junction with Barton Road. Cars park on the undamaged side of the road meaning there is no way to avoid driving into the potholes on a daily basis. This has been the case for well over 2 years so it would be nice if the problem could be addressed. Many thanks.

Faulty Traffic Lights Marlow Hill/School Close, 18th September

Faulty Pedestrian Traffic Lights Marlow Hill/School Close

I have reported these faulty pedestrian lights to Highways On Call via the Bucks CC website and by telephone several times over the past two months.

The lights are still faulty and pedestrians crossing on a red man.

To clarify I wish to confirm to the above lights are faulty in that the 'Red Man' remains red even when the traffic has been stopped. After pushing the button a red light comes-on on the small 'Wait for signal to change' box and goes off after a few seconds.

It does appear the Green Man occasionally comes-on, although I cannot identify what calls it, (perhaps vehicular traffic movement calling a change of lights on the junction), or how often this happens; suffice to say I have used this crossing dozens of times and only once seen a green man.

Additionally the upper set of pedestrian lights are not facing the correct direction - the upper lights should face across the road rather than in the same direction as the lower lights.

Overgrown hedges, 9th September

The hedges at side of pavement are so overgrown that it is not possible to walk South down Chesham Road from Copperkins Lane without either getting tangled up in prickly bushes or going out into the roadway. In some places the pavement is so badly swept that it is not possible for somebody with a pushchair and a toddler walking beside them to use this stretch of pavement.
