This stretch of the Park & Ride to Addenbrook's cycle route suffers from heavy leaf fall and has not been cleared this autumn at all. The resulting surface is becoming slippery and is dangerous.

Can you come and clean up this estate sometime at your convenience, as i know how you lead busy life. This whole estate looks like something out of war zone, with rubbish and broken footpaths, coered in berries and leaves.

Broken climbing frame, 8th November

The railings have been broken off the sides of two of the high platforms of the climbing frame in the Histon Road Rec. There are now unprotected falls of 2m and 1.5m.

Huge neglected pile of broken bottles, 1st November

I have noticed outside No. 162 Mull Road, Cambridge while walking by on various occasions there still remains a large scattered pile of vodka/beer bottles, some broken, all dumped in front of No.162. It is a potential danger to passers-by as it could easily get onto sidewalk/road. Please can this be cleaned up or whoever responsible to deal with it. It dangerous all that just sitting there.

Each of the four cycle paths under the roundabout has a ramp intersecting with a tunnel at a blind corner. A mirror at each corner would solve the problem.

The Ashbury Close sign has been partially sprayed over. Can this be cleaned off, perhaps at the same time as the grafitti on the telephone box just up the road, Thanks, Chris

Our house (2 Warkworth Street) was flooded in the basement because the road drain couldn't cope with the rain water last week. Please could it be cleared/checked so this doesn't happen again?

Verge parking, broken kerbs, 7th September

The residents would like to be canvasssed and action taken to either remove or replant the verges. The fencing around the green area has been broken for at least 5 years; the kerbs and planting around the trees on the paths need renewing. We'd also like to get involved with planting too.

Broken glass on cycle bridge, 4th September

During the night of 3rd Sep 2008, a pile of broken glass has appeared on the bridge - under one of the lights near the city end, which has been smashed. A) Glass on the cycleway B) The lights which were valdalised months ago have still not been repaired, and still drop more broken glass from time to time.

There is a blocked drain on the path behind the round public toilets on Midsummer Common/Butt Green that causes a huge puddle when it rains.

Edwardian lamppost needing painting, 19th August

At the bend on Burnside, next to the TA exit, there is a wonderful old (Edwardian?) lamppost which no longer has a streetlight but does sport 3 direction signs. This intersting pole of cast iron has not been painted in my estimation for more than ten years and is in dire need of a makeover. The shiny new signs look tarnished on such a flaky rusty post and all it would take is a full paintjob to smarten up the street again.

Daily rubbish & recent tree cuttings, 3rd August

I walk through this passageway every day and 2 years ago I was picking up 1-2 items of litter daily and depositing them in the only far-off bin situated in Montreal Square. This year there have been 6-8 items a day (water/vodka bottles, tissues, beer/coke cans, sandwich/sweet wrappers) but also regular dumpings of household rubbish (clothes, toys, bedding, DIY packaging, motorcycle/car parts). Since the Council cut back most of the vegetation in about March these have continued and there is some bedding behind the bushes where indicated (and behind the fence in the school playground on the opposite side). However, there is also branches cut from a fir tree nearby and further up on the ther side, nearer to Hobart Road there are beech tree branches left piled up and cuttings from the adjacent house left there also. Most of the litter is dropped by the schoolchildren walking through here in term time as it diminishes in vacations but I have long asked for another litter bin near the entrance to the walkway on Hobart Road and prefereably another in the corner as it turns into Montreal Road. I'm sure kids and adults alike would use these visible bins more ofter than discarding items in the bushes. The bin in Montreal Square is too far away and hardly noticeable to most people walking through from Natal Road.
