Litter/ Leaves, 11th November

Chalk Hill is covered in bits and pieces of litter. I have been around myself with a bin bag collecting bottles and cans. They are easy to recycle and I think there are a lot of possibilities to have a recycling area on Chalk Hill/ The Chase, which may help such problems.
Leaves are evry slippery and the trees have shed nearly all of there leaves now. I think it needs clearing at least on the steep pathways. As it is quite a hazard.

Potholes, 11th September

The road surface in Bell Lane, between Elizabeth Avenue and Beechwood Avenue in particular is a mass of potholes, such that it is not possible to avoid all of them (even given a traffic free road). This has been so for more than a year.

Overgrown hedges, 9th September

The hedges at side of pavement are so overgrown that it is not possible to walk South down Chesham Road from Copperkins Lane without either getting tangled up in prickly bushes or going out into the roadway. In some places the pavement is so badly swept that it is not possible for somebody with a pushchair and a toddler walking beside them to use this stretch of pavement.

Its not the first time..., 8th September

...graffiti on the brick wall which leads up to Chalk Hill properties 1-11.
Its not surprising that people vandalize around the area, because the whole area looks over grown and untidy. Public bodies who are in charge of the greenery cutting, the weeding and path ways and the main road maintainance do not do there job. Its is not only the council, but also paradigm housing.
It attracts pests, as well as jobs who think they can set their stamp around the area too. It is also full of litter.

Dangerous road & pot holes in pavement & road, 22nd July

Drivers do not give way to oncoming traffic as required when driving south along Waterside. There are many occurences of drivers swearing at oncoming cars who have right of way. Cyclists are put in danger and forced onto the pavement, often by cars travelling at high speed. The pavement and road are in appalling condition.

The road should be made one-way from the bridge to the roundabout and a suitable cycle path installed. The road from Moor Lane could then be made two-way to ease residents' access, while ensuring large vehicles can access the small industrial estate behind the Post Office.

Oval Way dangerous parking, 15th April

There is a problem with cars being parked at this end of Oval Way all day long because there are no restrictions (probably commuters for the station), as the closer part of Oval Way to the station now has a time limit. There are also 2 schools and the traffic is horrendous and dangerous when the children are being dropped off/ picked up- people park on both sides of the road (even over some resident's driveways) so the through way is incredibly narrow or people park on the pavement which is very dangerous with the children running around.
