Raw sewage leaking onto public highway., 21st November

When the weather is wet excess water accumulates at the top of Talland Hill and there is a very strong smell of sewage. It appears to be coming from the wall on the left handside of the lane (as you stand at the junction looking down the lane).

Dustbin full of rubble, 17th November

In the 'Passing Place' between Challow and Cross nr Luxulyan there is an abandoned metal dustin full of rubble. It is a danger to cars and has obviously been hit hard at least once.

The access to public disabled toilets has deep potholes accross the full width of the lane making it unsuitable for access by wheelchair and unsafe for the general public.

Dead light, 15th September

It's our only light. It's number is A563. It's bizare that I had to find this site through Google as Carrick District Council has nothing relevent on it.

Weeds are so bad from this site that they now cover the pavement forcing people into the road. This site is owned by Cattran the builders. Can nothing be done to force them to clear up this site. It has been this way for many years now.

Inapproprite size signs for entrance to tourist town, 7th September

At the approach to Mevagissey town centre there are 2 large blue motorway-style road signs that are completely out of place for a Cornish fishing/tourist village. They do nothing to create a welcoming or attractive impression of Mevagissey for the visitors Cornwall wants to entice. Sited as they are adjacent to a layby in which there are 2 large recycling containers that are often overbrimming with uncollected bottles, they do nothing to enhance Mevagissey, Even if the information on the signs is necessary, surely their sheer scale could be scaled down and their colour chanced from motorway blue to a less glaring white? We were told that the size of these signs would soon be reviewed once they had been in use for a little while. Is this review near yet?

Faulty street light, 5th September

The street light No.M144 between Nos. 9 and 10 Regent terrace is faulty. It keeps going out for no apparent reason. It can be on for as long as 30 minutes and then cuts out for a minute.

Passing places rutted and potholed, 26th August

On this curvaceous single-track road, the passing places have become rutted and in one passing place, deeply potholed. The road is often used by visitors, who are unfamiliar with the route and the position of their reverse gear.

The hedge is beginning to cover this sign. There are a number of other signs nearby, which cannot be seen because hedges are blocking the view, or the signs are worn out.

Footpath lighting, 19th August

Footpath (opened last year) across recreation ground has low level bollard lights. At 10pm on 18th August 2008 three of the bollard lights at the Northern (Glebe Crescent) end of the footpath were not working.

Broken warning bollards, 5th August

There are two plastic marker posts on the lane which runs very close to the side of Trethorne Cottage. They have been broken by traffic, and one has been taken away.
